The Hand wash station is placed on regular soap and hand sanitizer dispensers. It verifying weather a hand wash event has occurred. Also, the date, time and location of the hand wash event are wirelessly transmitted to the central server.
Step 2 Badge :
worn by each healthcare worker. It can be used to check each person’s own hand wash information, and it record a real time data which enables hospital management to monitor hand hygiene continuously.
Step 3 Card reader :
Data in the badge can be read by portable monitors and be transferred to computer.
Step 4 Base station :
A record of the hand-cleaning event is transmitted in real-time to a server that creates a permanent record in the Linkwell software database. It can produce a variety of reports: daily, weekly, monthly and custom cumulative reports for every health care worker using the system.
